strength and flexibility but reduces stress
in your life and develops peace of mind. All
levels are welcome in this safe, fun way to
get started in yoga. Registration is required
by the end of the first week of class. The instructor
is a certified Yoga-Fit instructor and has a
degree in Recreation and Physical Education.

SUN UP YOGA - Instructor:

The SunUp Yoga classes offer a great way to begin your day with energizing and relaxing yoga postures, breathing exercises and stretches which benefit all systems of the body. Variations will be offered to fit anyone’s level of fitness. Also a special feature of Rian’s classes is his soothing live music offered during the final relaxation.
About the Instructor: Rian took his first yoga class in 1975, using yoga to offset the stress of rigorous daily practice of the classical guitar. He received his 500 hour Advanced Teachers Training Certification in 2003.

TAI-CHI - Instructor:

Tai-Chi is a Martial Art based upon the principles of Chinese Medicine, spiritual harmony & meditation. It uses slow movements to lengthen and strengthen your muscles, improve circulation, coordination and increase flexibility. The breathing methods practiced enhance deep relaxation of body and mind. Through the centuries this peaceful "Martial Way" has proven effective in relieving stress and in improving your general well-being. Studying the movements of Tai-Chi is challenging, fun and relaxing—and does not require any special clothing, equipment or space. Students can practice alone or in a group and each student can learn at their own pace.
Master Aaron Kravetz has made a full time career of studying and teaching Chinese martial Arts for the past 27 years. Students say “His teaching technique is fun, engaging and an effective form of therapeutic movement”. The arts he teaches can be practiced for the rest of your life. STRETCHING & GENTLE MOVEMENT - Instructors:
Bill & Deb Hindley
Stretching & easy movements are a group of exercises based on yoga and the Chinese practice of qi gong, that may imporve circulation, respiration, body flexibility and energy flow. Previous students have become more aware of their body, feel and look younger, & experience increased energy while feeling more peaceful.
About the instructors: Bill & Deb are advanced graduates of the Dahn Healer School in Sedona; Bill holds an Arizona massage/bodyworker license & has 15 years teaching experience. Deb was diagnosed with MS in 1991, and began losing the use of her legs. In 2004 she discovered ki; and regualr ke exercise has kept her walking & cheerful - no power chair needed! Please
bring a mat and wear comfortable clothing.
